THE FUTURE OF CONSTRUCTION SECTOR HAS BEEN DISCUSSED IN İSTANBUL...

 

The international conference of “International Building Conference” CIB, which steers the Building and Construction Sector and is a very important institution, took place in İstanbul this year between 1-3 October 2009 this year under sponsorship of Ağaoğlu Group of Companies. The theme of the conference, which took place at İTÜ Maslak Ayazağa Campus with hosting of İstanbul Technical University, was “Information Technologies in Building”. During the conference chaired by Prof. Dr. Atilla Dikbaş, more than hundred different researches and articles were presented by 24 different countries. The presented notices and discussed topics aimed to provide information to the participants concerning state-of-the-art technologies, developments and innovations on construction sector, steer the future activities and give shape to the future of Turkish construction sector during the globalization period.

ğaoğlu Company Groups hosted approximately 250 participants consisted of 150 foreign academicians with the reception given at the Museum of Turkish Islamic Antiquities with successful presentation of Ağaoğlu My City Hotel on the date of 1 October 2009 being the first date of the organization.
